Emilie Branford, known professionally as TwoShoes, is a multidisciplinary artist and content creator specialising in expressive ink illustration, live drawing, animation and visual storytelling.
At the heart of Two Shoes’ practice is a belief that imperfection is what makes us human. Through her distinctive, fashion-forward portraiture, Emilie captures people as they are: characterful, individual and entirely themselves. With connection as the engine of her practice, she celebrates the details that might traditionally be considered imperfect, rather than seeking to erase them.
Working across analogue and digital mediums, her creative practice spans live illustration, editorial drawing, bespoke commissions, animation, wearable artwork, illustrated worlds and social-first content. With fashion, individuality and human connection running throughout her work, Emilie has brought her distinctive approach to Fashion Week environments, creating work that captures the people, personalities and style surrounding contemporary fashion and culture.
Emilie’s growing portfolio includes a commission from TATE Collective, where she created work in her signature ink style inspired by the James McNeill Whistler exhibition at Tate Britain, alongside commissioned work with SAGE.
Championing femininity and unmistakably Two Shoes, Emilie brings together art and storytelling to create memorable visual experiences for audiences and brands, all rooted in her philosophy of celebrating the “imperfectly perfect.” TwoShoes doesn’t make art in isolation, she draws in public, for people and with people.
