Pearl Froud has taken the industry by storm, having already partnered with brands like Pretty Little Thing, JD Sports x Pink Soda, Skims and Pour Moi. Pearl uses social media as self-love practice and encourages body confidence to her predominantly female fans through fashion, beauty, and clean aesthetics. She states ‘I'd like to be known for empowering women unapologetically, I don't want to hide my curviness behind trends but just be! And I would like to be known for that through my social media presence.’
As her social media momentum increases, Pearl is very ambitious about her future as a curve model and influencer. She aspires to be the ‘English Ashley Graham’, and a prolific spokesperson for plus-size people in the industry, ‘I aim to be a face for women to feel comforted and inspired by when they see me online or modelling a campaign on a billboard. Ultimately, I want to be that girl I used to dream about when I was younger.’
Celebrating diversity in a primarily fatphobic fashion world is her priority, and she is excited to build relationships with brands who share the same vision. Encouraging body positivity through visibility is imperative for her vision: ‘Everything I do and post is because I'm enjoying my body and myself.’
